Thank you for your bravery.When we can disagree based on policy alone with one's race never even entering the conversation, we will be beyond racism. I find it condescending that so many white, liberals feel that minorities are not aware enough to 'know' racism. It is always ugly, always wrong, and has nothing to add to the conversation. What happened to being AMERICANs first? Thank you for your sincere and honest dialog. I will be looking forward to your future posts.
As a fellow two percenter I salute you, unfortunately so many people are blinded by racial identity that they can't see beyond the superficial to examine the character beneath. Yours was a highly reasoned plea and I hope that many will grow to a point where they will heed it.
