Lenny McAllister will comment on observations from Tavis Smiley’s “State of the Black Union,” the ongoing riff in the Republican Party, and McAllister’s efforts with the “40 Day Fast for the Future” over Black History Month.
McAllister participated on a panel during the State of the Black Union Symposium Saturday that included bloggers Carmen Dixon and Kevin Ross, Dr. Tricia Rose (of Brown University), and Dr. Eddie Glaude (of Princeton University.) The panel was moderated by Dr. Michael Fauntroy, an assistant professor of public policy at George Mason University.
