McAllister to Appear on "The Weekend Countdown", "Viewpoints" radio Friday afternoo

Political commentator and community activist Lenny McAllister will appear with Kaela Harmon on “The Weekend Countdown” on http://www.wgcv.net WGCV
620 AM in Columbia, South Carolina at 5 PM EST and “Viewpoints” with host Vince Coglianese on The Talk Station http://www.thetalkstation.com/ (FM 107.1 WTKF Atlantic, NC and AM 1240 WJNC in Jacksonville, NC) at 5:35 PM EST on Friday afternoon.

Lenny McAllister will comment on observations from Tavis Smiley’s “State of the Black Union,” the ongoing riff in the Republican Party, and McAllister’s efforts with the “40 Day Fast for the Future” over Black History Month.

McAllister participated on a panel during the State of the Black Union Symposium Saturday that included bloggers Carmen Dixon and Kevin Ross, Dr. Tricia Rose (of Brown University), and Dr. Eddie Glaude (of Princeton University.)
