HHR Blog had the opportunity to interview GOP candidate Ryan Brumberg a candidate for New York’s 14th Congressional District. A lifelong New Yorker, Ryan grew up just outside the city. He has deep roots on Manhattan’s east side where his family has lived for more than 60 years.He graduated phi beta kappa from Columbia, with top honors from Stanford Law School, and then returned to New York to join McKinsey & Company where he has worked since 2007. On April 9th, 2010, Ryan resigned from McKinsey to launch his campaign for U.S. Congress.
The district includes most of the East Side of Manhattan, all of Roosevelt Island and the neighborhoods of Astoria, Long Island City, and Sunnyside in Queens. Museum Mile, all of Central Park, and the United Nations Headquarters are located within this district. Democrat Carolyn B. Maloney has represented the district since 1993
A vibrant, principle voice in New York politics, Ryan Brumberg is definitely a man to watch as he engages in a crucial Congressional race in NY’s 14th District.
