It's not every day that the Weekly Standard gives praise to a so-called "RINO," or Republican in Name Only, but there is a favorable article about Illinois Representative Mark Kirk, a Republican that is strong on the environment and also has been a leading voice against the Obama budget.Maybe it's the fact that the Weekly Standard realizes that you need all kinds of Republicans to become a winning party. Let's hope it's not the last time the Standard does this

Every now and again you'll see a republican, RINO or not, getting some credit.
Every now and again you'll see a republican, RINO or not, getting some deserved praise. It's rare, but it happens.
