Recently, McAllister was a featured speaker at the Charlotte Sweet Tea Party on Saturday, April 4 at Marshall Park in uptown Charlotte. His speech on social responsibility and government spending in the face of economic crisis was well received by those in attendance. Roughly 1200 attended the April 4 outdoor event.
"I just want to speak to what we can do as Americans more than just spend money," McAllister said in a brief statement.
