HHR's Political commentator and community activist Lenny McAllister appeard on WVON Chicago on “The Cliff Kelley Show”yesterat at 4 PM EST / 3 PM CST. The show was broadcast in Chicago on 1690 AM as well as stream live online at www.wvon.com. McAllister commented on the Saturday’s events at CPAC while focusing primarily on his participation and observations from Tavis Smiley’s “The State of the Black Union.” McAllister hosted a chat room for AOL during Smiley’s “State of the Black Union” event weekend in Los Angeles.

McAllister participated on a panel during the State of the Black Union Symposium Saturday that included bloggers Carmen Dixon and Kevin Ross, Dr. Tricia Rose (of Brown University), and Dr. Eddie Glaude (of Princeton University.) The panel was moderated by Michael Fauntroy, an assistant professor of public policy at George Mason University. The live webcast of the panel aired Saturday on www.tavistalks.com.
