Go Rafael Lopez!!!!

Rafael Lopez, a graduate from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is seeking office as a Virginia Delegate for Virgnias 52nd District:

He has lived in Dumfries, Virginia since 2000. In 2002, the Dumfries Town Council appointed him as Zoning Administrator. In addition to his duties as an Administrator, he was also responsible for Code Enforcement in the Town.

His desire for public service grew and in 2004, at the young age of 25, was elected to Town Council. After his term ended in 2008, the Council recognized and thanked him for his selfless and dedicated service to the Town. He continued to be involved in politics and became the Treasurer for Willie J. Toney who ran for Town Council and won a seat in a very contested election.

Afterwards, Rafael volunteered for several political candidates. Rafael works in the field of public health information and is employed by a federal government contractor. Recently, he started a foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping orphanages. He is a member of the Prince William County Republican Commitee, Prince William County Young Republicans, Hispanic Roundtable, RPV Hispanic Network, and the Prince William County Public School PTO. He is also founder and chair of the Council on International Public Affairs, a think-tank dedicated to the analysis, information, and discussion of foreign policy issues. Rafael is married and has two children. He and his family attend St. Francis of Assisi Church in Triangle, VA.
