Black Republican runs for Virginia's 2nd Congressional District

Chuck Smith is running for Congress to offer a new path to rebuild and strengthen our community through conservative principles. Born on the 4th of July, Chuck Smith is a Red, White and Blue American, with a record of strength and leadership. As a former Marine and Retired Navy JAG, Chuck has put country first.

And, as a longstanding resident of Virginia Beach, Chuck has ties to all parts of the community and can effectively bring change to Washington by representing the 2nd District. Having lived in Virginia for 30 years, Chuck Smith is proud to have raised five children. With Degrees in Political Science and Law, Chuck has practiced law for nearly 30 years and, during that time, has also studied International Law and Military Law.
