Many of the reasons you stated are why those in the Republican Party carry a stigma. The stigma of being old white dudes that are counting their dollar bills and listening in to your phone calls- lol. As a "Democrat" personally, I am becoming more open minded about my brothers and sisters that choose to hop the political fence in search of the American Dream.
